If this is romantic only... I have 49 total. I do think it's a lot compared to most people I've seen hehe. (And then I have a bunch of platonic + familial f/os too)

Defunct (adj.) No longer existing or functioning. Are any of your f/os from media that is already completed? If you could have any new content for your f/o, what would you like to see?

I mean, a lot of the Zelda ones come from games that likely won't get a sequel so that's finished. It would be cool to see them in a game again but unless we get more sequels, it's unlikely. But even seeing them in another Hyrule Warriors type situation would be cool ^^

Saudade(n.) the feeling of longing, melancholy, or nostalgia. Have you had any of your f/os for a long time? How long have they been your f/o? Which one have you had the longest?

Yeah, I've been shipping with a lot of my Zelda f/os since I was younger - like I have fics from 2016 or so with them (i.e. Ghirahim & Dark Link), though technically the Snow White with the Red Hair ones count too (Shirayuki, Zen & Obi) - I was planning a self insert in 2017 & never got around to writing it - though I'm still using the lore currently ^^

Awwwwwww thank you love!!! 💗🦋☁️✨ Not only are we both valid for choosing Barbie movies but we both also have exquisite taste 👼🏽🐚🪐🤍!!! Barbie movies capture a different sort of magic and youthful energy than Disney movies (perhaps it’s the girly, whimsical aesthetics & the detail put into dance sequences and songs) that is really just so... visually appealing, nostalgic and touching? Like it really appeals to my inner child lol... the need to consume glitter, poofy dresses, ballet, pretty castles, catchy songs, fun animal friends and cute romances!

When my sisters and I were younger, every time a new Barbie movie came out our father would take us to the local Rogers to rent it so all of the movies come with great memories! I even own Nutcracker, Rapunzel, Diamond castle, 12 dancing princesses, princess charm school and three musketeers on CD and Princess and the pauper on VHS (I used to keep a VHS TV in my bedroom and watch old movies at night). I’m most attached to Princess and the Pauper because my sisters and i used to watch it over and over again (to the point my sister and I would have to put the movie up on Youtube to fall asleep at one point). Also I LOVED the romance between Erika and Dominic, their lil organic romance blossoming and the way he just knew her and loved her for her and waited for her akskkdldldkdkdkdnc. To this day, I love the music, the costumes, the aesthetics, the friendship between Erika and Anneliese, the romances, Preminger, nick and nack as the hilarious villains and the messages of loyalty, being true to yourself, courage and unconditional love. when i listen to the music especially, i’m transported back to being young and wide-eyed, dreaming of fun adventures and sweet romances. 💖🎀💎🌸🌷

I remember once I told a former friend that i liked Barbie movies and they went “Barbie?!?! Ew.” A lot of ppl knock down on how great the movies are (plot, animation, aesthetics, movies, dance etc.) w/o even seeing them out of this weird misconception that Barbie is cheesy, low-quality and childish. when really, it has delivered on such beautiful cinematography, poignant messages, iconic aesthetics and music and dance that touch the heart and bring you back to the warmth of childhood youth. that is the exact definition of a comfort movie no? something lighthearted to make u feel young and inspired again. you are more than valid for having a barbie movie as a comfort movie anon and i hope, even in 20 or 30 years, you still feel the same magical feelings you have watching it as you do now ✨☁️🔮💞

Imagine a ballroom setting and seeing your F/O through the crowd. When they spot you, they smile at the sight of you and start making their way through the throngs of people. Are they walking slow, reveling in the buildup of tension before they finally reach you? Or are they nearly running towards you, foregoing propriety in order to reach you faster? Or are you the one making your way to them?

When they do reach you, they hold out their hand and ask you dance with them. (If you approached them, you do this)

If you accept, you spend the evening in each other’s arms, dancing with eyes only for the one you love.

If you don’t (i.e. you’re not one for ballroom dancing or you can’t dance for whatever reason), perhaps a stroll through the nearby gardens under the moonlight?

Kilig (n.) the feeling of butterflies in one’s stomach. Can you remember the first time your f/o gave you butterflies?

It was around the beginning of October (2021), and I started reading a bunch of Revali x reader stories so I could get ideas for what to write about him (i was already falling for him then and i wanted to write about him so much). I spent an entire day just reading those stories and I'd get butterflies at every sweet line he'd say <3

Cachinnating (v.) To laugh loudly. Which of your f/o’s lines/moments makes you laugh the most? Bonus points if they aren’t a comedic character.

Okay, one of them is when Terrako comes and starts to bother him and he has to fly away -- I always end up giggling there. Another is any time he makes a bird-related pun, especially the "it defeated me 100 years ago... but only because I was winging it" one.

⏳ - how long have you and your f/o been together?

it's been a while! like six years if my math's right (started shipping with him in 2016 so...)

🏠 - do you and your f/o live together, and what is that like? who asked the other about moving in first?

we do, we share a room in Demise's castle (it's an interesting au I use for the ship with him lol). he was the one who asked first. i spent a lot of nights in his room and he suggested we might as well move my stuff from my room to his and make it official ^-^

💕 - who said, “i love you” first, and how did the other react?

technically he said the words first but only after i told him i wanted to be more than friends. i was surprised but ultimately happy that he loved me back <3

Feeling tired and vaguely headache-y, so I'm gonna share my headcanons on how my zelda f/os would care for me if i had a headache :3

Link would pull me away from other people if he can so that he could quietly take care of me. If we're in a situation where he can't, he'll wrap an arm around me and let me tuck my head into the crook of his neck until we're able to leave.

Zelda would request that anyone in the room speak quieter to disturb me less. If she can, she'll call for a break from whatever meeting it is to take me to her room and get me comfortable before returning. If she can't, she'll hold my hand under the table and have a staff member get me some water/a snack.

Sheik can tell the instant I have a headache (knows all my tells for it). If he can, he'll escort me out of the room and to a quiet location, bringing me water or food -- whatever I need. If he can't, he'll use some of his magic to muffle the room's loudness for me, listening carefully in case he has to later relay any information to me.

Dark will (quietly so as to not make the headache worse) snap at everyone around us to be quiet if they're being particularly loud. He'll pull me into his arms if he can and let me bury my face in his chest, paying more attention to whatever meeting it is than usual so he can tell me what I need to know later.

For Urbosa: If we're in Gerudo Town, she'll escort me to her room no matter what situation we're in and make sure I'm comfortable before going back to the meeting/whatever it was. If we're not, she'll settle me in her lap and run her fingers through my hair while requesting that everyone keep their voices down. If someone gets too loud, she'll shoot a warning glance over at them, making sure it didn't bother me too much.

Midna will call the whole meeting off if she can so that she can take care of me until I feel better. If we're not in a meeting, she'll take me somewhere quiet to sing to me and care for me. If she can't call it off, she will not hesitate to make the advisors/whoever be quieter. They're not hurting me on her watch.

Mipha would do as she does best and set her hand on my forehead/top of my head (depending on the headache's location) and use her magic to heal it or ease the pain. Usually that works. If not, she'll take me swimming if it's when we're not busy. But if we are busy, she'll occasionally use her magic to keep it from being too unbearable.

Ghirahim will drop literally everything when he finds out I'm in the slightest bit of pain. He'll teleport us to a quieter location and dote on me until I feel better -- doing anything I request of him (singing, water, food, etc.) If he's doing tasks for Demise, he'll teleport us away and then return once I'm in a quieter location, and he'll return as soon as he's able.

Malon will get me water and some kind of pastry whenever I have a headache and will take me to her room, turning off all the lights (or torches depending on the au) and blocking out the windows, letting me rest in there until I feel better. She'll have to return to work, of course, but will periodically check on me. if it's not that bad of a headache, I might spend some time with the horses, especially the gentler ones.

Impa's whole thing is caretaking so she's a master at it. If I have a headache, she usually has a potion or something that'll fix it immediately already on her person. If she doesn't, she'll comfort me and/or take care of me until she can leave to get/make such a potion. Headaches don't last long under her watch.

Revali becomes a very concerned & protective bird. Normally, he'd tease me but headaches are a bit more serious and he doesn't want to cause unnecessary pain. If we're in Rito Village or not busy, he'll take me for a flight or to a quiet location to care for me away from prying eyes. If we're busy (champion meeting or w/e), he'll wrap a wing snugly around me and pull me close so I can bury my face in his feathers. He'll fluff up the wing and shield me from any outside sound and light.

Sidon goes into immediate caretaker mode the second I comment on a headache. He will also take me swimming like Mipha, but if I'm not up for being the active swimmer, I can ride on his back through the water. It's that or he'll have a warm bath set up for me. He will get me anything I need in order to make me feel better.

(is it obvious I already had these prepared - i like reading over them whenever i get a headache as it helps distract from the pain ^^)

He’s amazing. I was literally scrolling the tag for him today and I couldn’t stop smiling at the fanart and giggling at any text memes I saw of him. I’ve loved him as a character since I first played the game back in like 2011/2012. He’s just so dramatic and chaotic, but I could see the potential for like a soft side. The fanfics I read (and wrote) back then certainly didn’t help that matter. I just adore him so much.

H: Height - is there a height difference or a size difference in general between the two of you? how do each of you feel about it? 

Idk what his canon height actually is but from the research I’ve done and my own HCs, he’s about 6 feet tall. I’m like 5′2″ so that’s a pretty decent difference. I really like it! He’s about the height where it’s easy for me to bury my face into his neck when we hug, which is lovely. He likes it too, especially since it gives him easy access for forehead kisses. <3

I: Image - show us a picture of them that gives you a lot of feelings. if they aren’t a visual character, describe your mental image of them!

Okay, it’s not an image, but it counts right? He’s just so dramatic, that little hair flip?? I love him.

R: Rainbow - what colors do you associate with them and why?

Red, white, and gold for obvious reasons (they’re part of his outfit), but also light blue. I know the only part of his outfit that’s that shade is his earring, but it suits him. <3

A: Art - do they draw or paint? what about any other kind of art? what’s their favorite style/subject/another artist who inspires them?

He can draw - has sketchbooks upon sketchbooks filled with various drawings of all types. There’s a lot of self-portraits along with images of the surface (mainly Faron, it’s the one of the three he enjoyed the most), but he tends to draw me as well.
